Regulator takes action against ANZ

The FMA says the bank misled customers for years over useless credit card insurance.

The Financial Markets Authority has filed court proceedings against ANZ New Zealand for allegedly misleading customers over credit card insurance policies.

ANZ charged some customers for credit card repayment insurance (CCRI) policies that offered them no cover, the regulator says.
