RBNZ ‘responding to data breach’

Reserve Bank says file sharing system illegally accessed.

The Reserve Bank says it is “responding with urgency” to a breach of one its data systems.

In a statement issued on Sunday afternoon, the central bank said a third party file sharing system it used to store and share some sensitive information had been illegally accessed.
