RBNZ cut in March predicted due to coronavirus

The odds of a cut to the Official Cash Rate are rising on both sides of the Tasman.

ANZ economists are now expecting the Reserve Bank to cut the official cash rate (OCR) in March by 50 basis points, and by a further 25 basis points in May due to the rapid spread of Covid-19 coronavirus.

That would take the OCR to just 0.25%.
