Profit up 59% at Bluebridge ferry owner

Private equity-owned shipping and logistics company StraitNZ, operator of the Bluebridge Cook Strait ferries, has reported net profit up 59% for the year to March.

Financial statements filed to the Companies Office for StraitNZ Holdings show net profit of $27.3 million for the year, up from $17.1m
