Port of Auckland lifts council pay out by 33%

The council-owned port company has posted a slight rise in its half-year profit.

Port of Auckland (POAL) has lifted its interim payout to the council by 33%, after increasing its top and bottom line. 

The council-owned port has this morning released its interim results statement, which showed an underlying net profit after tax of $21.2 million for the six months to December,
