OIO seeks penalties over Agria scandal

The Overseas Investment Office says it has filed proceedings in the High Court seeking penalties from PGG Wrightson’s overseas shareholder, Agria, after findings of fraud against the company in the US.

Agria, registered in Singapore but ultimately owned in the Cayman Islands, required OIO
