From November 1, NBR will be the new home of New Zealand Aviation News, giving subscribers access to an additional area of quality news and analysis.
NZ Aviation News was founded in 1978 and has covered all aspects of New Zealand’s vibrant aviation sector every month since then. Veteran aviation journalist and photographer John King remains as editor, along with the quality contributors that have long made it a must-read for the industry.
As an NBR subscriber, the news is all good. From November your subscription will also unlock a new ‘Aviation News’ section at nbr.co.nz, which over time will include an online archive of previous issues as well as new stories as they break.
Why has NBR made this acquisition? To ensure NZ Aviation News continues to thrive in a digital age and to deliver our subscribers even more return on their time and money.
It might also surprise you to know that the wider NBR team has possibly the strongest aviation credentials of any New Zealand news outlet. Our chief technical officer Michael Bach is a senior flying instructor and keen Tiger Moth pilot. Video content producer Paul Brennan is a long-time aviation enthusiast and the driving force behind ‘Bring Our Birds Home’. And NBR’s marketing is managed by Auckland agency The Goat Farm, led by former RNZAF Hercules captain and current Warbirds pilot Vaughn Davis.
I’m excited about this news. On the back of this week’s new columnist announcements, it’s a great week for NBR subscribers. Chocks away!
