Analysts were surprised last week when Reserve Bank governor Adrian Orr said that, due to a weaker global outlook and reduced momentum in domestic spending, the next OCR movement may be down.
Previous guidance provided by the Reserve Bank suggested that the OCR was unlikely to change until 2021
