Local market regroups after early coronavirus hit

But health experts say things will get worse before they get better.

The New Zealand sharemarket has partially recovered this afternoon after its early slump on the back of international fears over coronavirus.

The NZX-50 was down 1.1% at 3.30pm, a significant improvement on its 2% drop when the market opened.
