Labour market’s tea leaves for next week’s OCR

America’s largest bank, JPMorgan Chase, has weighed in behind two more quarter-point cuts in the official cash rate, with it halving to 0.5% in May next year.

The prediction comes in a preview of new labour market data – due out on Wednesday – for the three months to September.
