King Salmon reports profit turnaround
With mortality costs way down and new open sea farms approved, the salmon farmer says it's making real progress.
NZ King Salmon has consent for new open sea farms.
Salmon farmer NZ King Salmon has reported a $10.6 million net profit for the six months to July, up from a $24.5m loss at the same time last year.
The turnaround comes on the back of reduced mortality costs, which fell from $22.3m in the first half of last year to $7.8m in the current period.
