Smart laser measurement developer IkeGPS Group has told the NZX that Richard Mander, its former chief operating officer, will leave IKE this month.
Mr Mander, a former Apple engineering group manager was recruited by the company in November 2014 as executive vice president of engineering.
His resume includes being chief technology officer at Navman and Visualant, chief executive of HumanWare and director of operations in engineering with Contour. In 2004 he was named World Class New Zealander for his work in the US technology market.
IKE CEO Glenn Milnes said: "We wish to thank Richard for his contribution to IKE. Part of our 2020 financial year plan includes the consolidation from three operating locations that included a Seattle, USA office to a focus on two locations – being our primary Colorado operation and our Wellington office."
Mr Milnes also said chief financial officer Chris Birkett had been appointed chief operating officer.
Mr Birkett has previously been chief financial officer of manuka honey company Watson & Son, chief financial officer at Nasdaq-listed RockShox Inc, chief financial officer of General Cable Asia Pacific, managing director of General Cable Oceania. Before that he held financial roles with Cisco Systems Inc. in Silicon Valley and audit roles with Coopers Lybrand in New Zealand and the US.
