Duty-free and accommodation sales to tourists fell.

First-quarter retail sales volumes rose 0.7% to the end of March, slightly more than the market expected and enough to quell fears that household spending was drying up.
Lower duty-free sales to tourists were offset by stronger spending tied to housing.
