Govt confirms backing for Ruapehu skifield bids

Cabinet decision delivers a blow to stakeholder calls for delay on sale process.

The Government has confirmed its support for two private bids for the skifields at Mt Ruapehu after a Cabinet meeting today.

A sale process has been under way since the operating company Ruapehu Alpine Lifts fell into administration last November.
