Dairy prices halted their recent slide in Fonterra’s overnight GlobalDairyTrade auction.
The GDT Price Index lifted 2.7% to $US3412 a tonne, with the benchmark whole milk powder rising 3.6% to $US3074/t. It accounted for about 55% of the 25,000t of product sold.
