Winter supply deal will replace coal to fuel Huntly power station.
Genesis Energy has found more gas for its Huntly power station through a deal with Taranaki methanol maker Methanex.
In a transaction announced this morning, Genesis said it had agreed to buy 3.4-4.4 petajoules of gas from Methanex this winter.
