FTSE crashes in biggest fall since 1987

UK-listed shares have suffered their biggest daily drop since 1987 after US President Donald Trump announced a ban on travel from Europe.

The benchmark FTSE100 index fell 10.9% to 5237, with travel companies among the most affected.
