Craigs nearly doubles net income on QuayStreet sale

Broker booked a $30.8m gain on the sale of the funds management business.

Craigs Investment Partners has reported total annual income of nearly $48.8 million for 2023, up from $25.5m the year prior, mainly due to a gain on the sale of management rights for its QuayStreet funds of close to $30.8m.

NZX subsidiary Smartshares acquired the rights in QuayStreet from CIP
