City Rail Link confident despite contracting woes

Construction industry woes not impacting rail project, select committee told.

City Rail Link Ltd expects to sign a contract by the end of May for the main work on building the train stations and tunnels.

Work is already under way on Britomart Station and on trenching Albert St but a contractor is yet to be named for the bulk of the inner city rail link.
