Christian Hawkesby will be the Reserve Bank’s new deputy governor, replacing Geoff Bascand who is leaving the bank in January.
Hawkesby will also take over leadership of the bank’s financial stability functions. He is currently the bank’s assistant governor / general manager of economics,
