ChargeNet sells stake to feed growing EV population

Swiss energy giant Mercuria bought 20% of the Auckland-based EV charging firm.

New Zealand electric vehicle charging business ChargeNet has sold a 20% stake to Swiss commodity giant Mercuria to fund network expansion to meet a predicted increase in EV numbers.

Founded in 2015 by Steve and Dee West, the business has managed to build up a network of 270 rapid charging
