Failed insurer's deputy chair was facing a fraud trial next year.

Former deputy chair of failed insurer CBL Alistair Hutchison, who was due to stand trial on a fraud charge in June next year, has died this week aged 83.
Hutchison, who had pleaded not guilty, sought name suppression but this was declined by the High Court in September.
