NZGIF lends Eastland $25m for Bay of Plenty geothermal project

Eastland is also raising capital for the project.

Eastland Generation has got a $25 million loan from Green Investment Finance to help construct connection assets for its new geothermal plant in Kawerau.

The loan will also enable the company to upgrade connections to its existing Te Ahi O Maui geothermal plant.
