BNZ profit boosted by revenue; challenges outlined

Bank of New Zealand has boosted its half-year profit because of increased revenue, partly offset by higher operating expenses and credit impairment charges.

Its net profit in the six months ended March 31 rose 13.5%, or $96 million, to $805m.
