BDO resigns as Maat syndicate auditor

Firm won’t say whether it will tell shareholders its reasons at coming annual meetings.

BDO was auditor for eight of the 11 Maat property syndicates.

Auditor BDO has declined to comment on its reasons for resigning as auditor of several property syndicates managed by Maat Consulting, whose annual meetings are taking place this week.

The resignations were revealed in annual reports signed this month by Maat directors Neil Tuffin and Mark Hughson,
