MYOB’s private equity owner, Bain Capital, has finally lost patience and sold most of its remaining stake to a rival, global corporate raider, KKR, which is proposing a $A2.19 billion takeover of MYOB.

Bain has sold 17.6% of MYOB, the second-largest player in the Australasian accounting
