Auckland Council ordered to pay employee of 47 years $107k
Council found to have wrongly compensated a worker made redundant.
Auckland Council has been ordered to pay former employee Robin Drought $106,901 after failing to pay him 100 weeks of redundancy compensation.
The Employment Relations Authority found Mr Drought had the right to uncapped redundancy under the conditions in his personal contract.
