Creditors of the Auckland Tuatara Baseball team reportedly lost patience waiting for an overdue insurance payment.

Baseball New Zealand Incorporated was the company’s largest shareholder.

Liquidators have been appointed to the Auckland Tuatara Baseball Franchise after creditors lost their patience waiting for an overdue insurance payment.

The team had competed in the Australian Baseball League since 2018 but was forced to sit out the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons due to Covid-19 travel
