Airways reports larger than expected $35m annual loss

Annual report shows departed-CEO Graeme Sumner was paid $1.29m in 2022, almost double on the year before.

Airways Group has reported a net loss after tax of $35.5 million – $18m wider than budgeted – after an “exceptionally challenging” year for the state-owned provider of air navigation and training services.
