Air NZ's pre-tax earnings up on last year but below 2016's peak
The national airline makes its second-highest profit after 2016.

Air New Zealand’s pre-tax earnings have increased on last year’s, but remain behind 2016’s peak.
The national airline made pre-tax profit of $540 million in the year to June 30, up from $527m the year before. This is its second-highest profit after 2016’s $663m.
