Air NZ posts FY21 loss after tax of $289m

National carrier saw domestic travel capacity at 93% of pre-Covid levels - before Covid struck again.

Air New Zealand has announced a net after-tax loss of $289 million, some 36% better than last year’s $454m loss, although it finds itself amid another cash-draining, Covid-related lockdown.

The company reported a loss before other significant items and taxation of $440m for the year to the end
