Holly Bennett

Holly Bennett (Te Arawa, Ngāti Whakaue, Ngāti Pikiao) is the founder and kaitūhono ariki (principal consultant) of kaupapa Māori government relations firm Awhi based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).

A former political advisor in the previous National-led government, Holly has an LLB from the University of Auckland and was admitted to the bar in 2013. She was named 2022 Young Business Person of the Year by the Newmarket Business Association.

Holly also founded New Zealand’s first government relations training and education organisation, Engage, which educates New Zealanders to become their own best advocate. An avid networker and proud millennial, Holly continues to look for ways to innovate and improve accessibility to the government relations industry in Aotearoa.
