Nevil Gibson

Nevil spent most of his journalistic career at The National Business Review in two stints, from 1972-75 and from 1988-2020, when he retired as Editor at Large. During that time he rose to editor and editor-in-chief of Liberty Group publications before a change in ownership. 

In retirement, he pursues his interest in books and movies, reviewing them for NBR and other publications. He is acting as editor of NZ Aviation News, with a weekly column on business travel, Carry On. When not at the NBR, Nevil worked at The Dominion, NZ Listener, The Press, Radio NZ and in private radio.
