Grant is a well-respected veteran broadcaster with over 45 years' experience in radio, television and online.
Recently he has been intrinsically involved in the day-to-day running of RNZ National. This involved implementing strategy along with people management and he also acted as head of radio over the summer periods since 2020 among other times.
Before that he spent several years working for NBR including two years in the gallery, interviewing politicians and business leaders and has continued as a contributor through Beehive Banter from Parliament.
