Jenny Ruth has returned to NBR, having started her career as a journalist here in 1984. In between, she has worked for most news outlets in New Zealand, most recently for Radio New Zealand and has previously written columns for the Sunday Star-Times, New Zealand Herald and New Zealand Property Investor magazine, among others. Jenny was the Bloomberg news service’s first New Zealand bureau chief, establishing its presence in this country in 1994. She has also worked in Australia for Australian Associated Press. Her awards include Best Business Reporter (Radio) at the EY Business Awards 2014.
