Peter Owens is a freelance writer based in Gore. Educated in Christchurch, he holds a University of Canterbury degree in law. He taught at St Peters College in Gore for a number of years.
He has contributed copy and images to print and radio for many years, particularly relating to rural matters and especially southern agriculture and transport. Peter has also been a regular contributor to a number of journals dedicated to mining, tourism and food.
He has had a long association with all aspects of the New Zealand aviation industry.
