Daniel Riordan started working life as a Reserve Bank economist before transitioning to journalism through the Evening Post’s music section. His first reporting job was at Venture Capital Journal, followed by the Independent Business Weekly, the Sunday Star-Times and the New Zealand Herald. He also spent 15 years consulting on corporate communications to some of the largest companies in New Zealand and South-east Asia.
