Liam Rātana

Liam studied a conjoint LLB/BA at The University of Auckland before landing a role as a journalist with global media brand Vice. Since then, he has worked with media organisations including Bauer Media, Māori Television, Sky TV, TVNZ, and NZME. Liam also spent two years living in Rarotonga, where he worked for the Cook Islands News and established his own full-service marketing agency. While freelancing for publications such as the NZ Herald and The Spinoff, Liam has been passionate about Māori issues in particular.
