BlueScope profit down 64% after bumper 2022

Softer prices and volatile global economics have hit profits at Australian steelmaker BlueScope Steel, with the full year net result falling 64% on last year’s record.

ASX-listed BlueScope today reported a net profit of A$1.01 billion for the 12 months to June 30, down from A$2.81b last year.
