How will the government afford to improve everyone’s wellbeing?
Auckland households’ wellbeing has been significantly compromised over the past decade.

There has been a lot of talk about the noun “wellbeing” and its application to the budget – all trimmings and no cake is the general thrust of the criticism. But, for my money, a wellbeing budget is about raising living standards for all.
In that sense, every budget is a wellbeing budget.
